Continuing the dialogue-based workshop, the third session, titled “Education and Building Technical Competencies,” emphasized the importance of integrating educational institutions with labor market needs, and the role of universities in developing curricula and enhancing practical skills to keep pace with the rapid transformations in the technology sector.
The session was attended by Dr. Saeed Abu Turab, Director of the DIGIT Center; Dr. Mustafa Sa’im Al-Dahr, President of Damascus University; Mr. Hassan Fallaha, representing the UNDP; and Dr. Ammar Joukhdar, Dean of the Faculty of Informatics Engineering at Damascus University. The discussion focused on building competencies capable of meeting the demands of the digital future and making a real impact in the labor market.
