The Human Resources Management Foundation presented a workshop titled “Protocols and Presentation Skills: Body Language, Public Speaking, and Voice,” delivered by Dr. Munir Abbas to the Med Invovision team. The workshop focused on practical application, equipping participants with effective communication tools. The modules were structured to form a comprehensive journey, starting with building inner confidence and culminating in professional stage presence, as follows:
Body Language: Deciphering body language and using gestures and eye contact to build confidence and connect with the audience from the outset.
Voice Dynamics: Training in vocal range, articulation, and the art of “conscious silence” to control the pace of the session and capture the audience’s attention.
Public Speaking: Overcoming stage fright and mastering public speaking skills through organizing ideas and telling compelling stories.
Presentation Skills: Designing presentations that are both simple and insightful, emphasizing persuasion and transforming dry information into an inspiring and interactive experience. Etiquette and protocol: Applying international rules for formal conduct, to ensure a fully professional presence that reflects the image of the institution and the prestige of the speaker.
