Since its establishment in 2007 as a Syrian joint-stock company, Al-Aqeelah Takaful Insurance Company has continued to maintain its presence in the Syrian market as the first Takaful insurance company to obtain authorization to commence operations from the Syrian Insurance Supervisory Commission, offering insurance products compliant with the provisions of Islamic Sharia to individuals and businesses.
