Labor Market in Syria: Challenges & Opportunities ⚡
This will be the title of our session with Dr. Raghdaa Zeidan
Assistant Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, and an active voice in developing employment policies and supporting economic empowerment initiatives across Syria.
Dr. Raghdaa believes that challenges are not always obstacles… sometimes, they can be the spark that creates opportunities. Despite its challenges, the Syrian labor market is opening new spaces for growth, innovation, and entrepreneurship

Dr. Raghdaa has worked on key employment-related areas, supporting vulnerable groups and empowering youth and women, in addition to overseeing training and development programs in partnership with local and international organizations.

During the session, she will provide a realistic overview of the current challenges:
unemployment, the skills gap, digital transformation, and changing business needs…
At the same time, she will highlight the opportunities available today in entrepreneurship, small businesses, vocational training, and remote work.
