Within the framework of strengthening the partnership between the academic sector and the labor market, the Human Resource Management Foundation (IHRM), in cooperation with the Syrian Private University, and in coordination with the Faculty of Management Sciences and the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence Engineering, organized a workshop entitled “Skills for Entering the Labor Market for Students of Information Technology Faculties of All Specializations”, with the participation of Tradinos Company represented by Mr. Mohammad Al-Dimashqi, Operations Manager at the company, and in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Human Resource Management Foundation, Dr. Mounir Abbas, the Dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence Engineering, Dr. Mouhib Al-Naqri, and the Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences, Dr. Samar Habib, along with the Vice Deans for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, and with the participation of students from the Faculties of Management Sciences and Artificial Intelligence Engineering.
During the workshop, Mr. Mohammad Al-Dimashqi addressed the most prominent requirements and skills needed by information technology students to enter the labor market, reviewing the reality of the technical sector and the most important competencies sought by companies, in addition to a set of practical guidelines related to building a career path, developing personal and technical skills, and preparing for modern work environments.
This workshop comes within the framework of the keenness of the Human Resource Management Foundation (IHRM) and the Syrian Private University to enhance communication between students and the business sector, and to prepare youth with knowledge and practical experiences that contribute to raising their readiness and enhancing their opportunities in the labor market
