Launch of the “Where to Now? 5” Events in Damascus
The Institute of Human Resources Management (IHRM), in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Affairs, represented by the Qudrat Center for Youth Empowerment, launched the activities of the fifth edition of “Where to Now?”, a specialized event for secondary school students preparing to transition to university life, with the aim of helping them discover their academic options and make more informed decisions about their future.
The event also included job opportunities for various specializations, contributing to introducing students to the requirements of the labor market and the opportunities available to them in the future, alongside the participation of the Syrian Private University (SPU), Labib Educational Platform, Makki Company, Bin Hasib Company, and Al-Ghouta Company. The participating entities contributed by providing information and guidance to students, answering their inquiries, and helping them form a clearer picture of their academic and career options.
The event program included a series of guidance and inspiring lectures with a group of experts, addressing several topics of interest to students on their journey toward university, including:
* Dr. Munir Abbas: Personality Analysis Test and Introduction to the Institution.
* Mr. Amr Al-Sayed Al-Laham: Personal Branding for University Students.
The event also featured specialized corners for various university specializations, giving students the opportunity to learn about the nature of each specialization, discuss its details, and ask their questions within an interactive and guidance-focused space.
The fifth edition of “Where to Now?” comes as a continuation of the Institute of Human Resources Management’s (IHRM) efforts to support youth, help them transition to university with greater awareness, and connect them with opportunities, universities, and expertise that can contribute to building their academic and professional future.
